Let’s get ready to fundraise!

Every year, the Vashon-Maury Chamber of Commerce partners with Chamber member non-profits. Participating organizations campaign for a candidate for Unofficial Mayor of Vashon, and one dollar donated equals one vote for that candidate.

“Election day” is the Saturday of Strawberry Festival, July 20th in 2024, and the candidate with the most donated dollars wins.

Moose and Jolene from the Old Goats Home took the title in 2023. Who will be our 2024 champ?

We are grateful to Chamber member Our Mayberry that generously hosts the fundraising platform, keeping it simple for all to participate.

Nonprofit sign up to campaign begins May 15th and closes June 15th. Campaigning begins June 1 - so sign up right away! Full rules of participation follow below.

Check out our 2023 candidates!

In the words of the great orator, Sir Hogs-A lot, “I like pig butts and I cannot lie!”
